Your friendly reminder that you will not live forever.

lifetime.page provides insightful and interactive ways to understand and visualize lifetime data. Its mission is to inspire action instead of causing lethargy.

As a first tool, you can use the Lifetime Calculator. Heavily inspired by Tim Urban’s “Your Life in Weeks” blog post, you can calculate your statistically likely lifetime based on where you live, your gender, and your date of birth. The Calculator is built on the latest life expectancy data from the World Bank.

Since this page wants to spark action, go ahead and calculate your lifetime stats. But be aware that doing so can cause you to feel the pressure of time. If so, breathe for a minute, and remember the following example:

Barack Obama became president when he was forty-seven and ended his presidency eight years later. On the contrary, Donald Trump became president at seventy and might become president for a second time at seventy-eight.

As you can see, every life and lifetime is different, and it is never too late to get started with whatever goal you want to achieve.

It’s up to you to take action and make your lifetime count.
